Who we are

AgriFolk, at automatly.ai, is a product of Automatly. It is run by two individuals in India: Abhishek K, who lives in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and Kathiravan V, who lives in Karur, Tamil Nadu (“AgriFolk”, “we”, “us”). Payments for plans are collected, and refunded, by Kathiravan V.

By using AgriFolk you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Using AgriFolk

• Reading prices, schemes, calculators, the forum and the news is free and needs no account.
• Visitors can ask Soilmate and AgriDoctor a few questions a day without signing in. Saved chats, a farm profile, alerts, listings, messages and expert contact need a free account.
• You must be 18 or over to have an account.
• Do not run automated collection against the site, try to get around its limits, or use it to harm anyone.

Information, not advice

• Prices are read from published sources and carry the date they were read. They can change before you act on them.
• Forecasts are model estimates with their confidence shown beside them, not promises.
• Costs, yields and profit in the calculators use published reference figures unless you give your own, and your field may differ.
• Scheme, loan and insurance results are guidance from published rules. Only the department or lender decides your application.
• A photo check lists what may be wrong. It is not a confirmed diagnosis.

We work hard to keep every figure right and correct it when told, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is accurate or current when you read it.

Soilmate and AI answers

Soilmate and AgriDoctor are AI assistants. They run AgriFolk's calculators on live data and explain the result, but an AI can still be wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it.

• They never give a dose, a mixing rate, a withdrawal period or a brand as a prescription. For those, ask your KVK officer, an agronomist or a vet.
• For an animal that is down or struggling to breathe, call a vet or the 1962 helpline at once.
• Do not send photos of people, or anything that is not about your crop, animal or farm.
• Questions per day depend on your plan. A question that fails is not counted.

Your account

You sign in with Google. Keep that sign-in to yourself: you are responsible for what happens under your account, and should tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. Use your real name, because a listing or a call back request from a name that is not real is no use to anyone.

Plans and payments

• Free is free for ever. Kisan, Kisan Plus and Pro add more AI questions, photo checks, seller and expert contacts and alerts, as set out on the plans page.
• A paid plan runs for 30 days from the day you pay and does not renew on its own.
• Payments are taken by Razorpay by UPI, card, net banking or wallet. AgriFolk never sees your card or bank details.
• The money is received by Kathiravan V, Karur, Tamil Nadu, for AgriFolk. The payment screen and your bank or UPI app may show the name Automatly or Kathiravan V.
• Prices can change, but never for a plan you have already paid for.
• Refunds follow the refunds and cancellation policy.

Experts

We check each agronomist, vet and specialist against their registration before they are listed. They are independent: AgriFolk is not their employer and does not stand behind the advice they give.

• Getting an expert's number or asking for a call back counts as one expert contact on your plan.
• Any fee is agreed between you and the expert. AgriFolk does not set it, collect it or refund it.
• When you ask for a call back, your name, place and phone number go to that expert only.

Buying and selling on Mandi

A deal on Mandi is between you and the other person. AgriFolk does not hold your money, take a cut, inspect the goods or become a party to the sale. Check what you buy before you pay, and meet somewhere safe.

Sellers' phone numbers are never shown on a listing. Starting a new conversation with a seller counts as one seller contact on your plan.

What you post

You keep ownership of your listings, posts and photos, and allow us to show them on AgriFolk and in search results. You confirm that what you post is yours to post and is accurate. Do not post:

• A listing for something you do not have, or at a price you do not mean to honour.
• Anything illegal to sell, including banned agricultural chemicals and protected species.
• Someone else's photos, words or contact details without their permission.
• Abuse, threats, or anything targeting a person or a group.
• Requests for an advance payment, an OTP or a bank detail.
• Advice presented as a professional opinion when you are not qualified to give it.

We remove anything that breaks these rules and close accounts that keep doing it.

Alerts and emails

Knock knock alerts, saved search alerts and messages are sent on a best-effort basis. A source can publish late or not at all, and an email can be delayed, so do not rely on an alert alone for a decision that cannot wait. You can remove any alert on your alerts page.

Whose content it is

Prices, scheme rules and research belong to the boards, departments and publishers that produced them. News headlines and articles belong to the publishers we link to; we keep only the headline, the link and a short takeaway. The AgriFolk and Soilmate names, logos and the way the site is put together are ours.

You may read, print and share pages for your own use, and quote a figure if you credit AgriFolk and the original source. For research or teaching use in bulk, write to hello@agrifolk.org.

Availability and liability

We try to keep AgriFolk running, but we do not promise it will always be available, or that a source we read will keep publishing. Features can change or be withdrawn.

As far as the law allows, AgriFolk is not liable for any loss from relying on the information, an AI answer, an expert, another user or a deal made through the site. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Closing an account

You can close your account at any time by writing to hello@agrifolk.org. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Your listings, posts and chats come down with it, subject to the retention periods in the privacy policy.

Law and grievances

These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of Bengaluru have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Grievance Officer: AgriFolk team, hello@agrifolk.org. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days, under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Changes to these terms

We will update this page when the terms change and move the date at the top. If a change materially affects what you can do, we will say so on the site.
