Group selling

One farmer with 2 tonnes is a price taker. Twenty farmers with 40 tonnes is a negotiation. These are harvest lots whose owner has said neighbours may add their crop to them. Add yours, and the whole lot goes to the buyer as one.

No lot is open right now

Nobody has opened a lot for joining yet. You can open the first one.

Post my harvest

How it works

  1. Find a lot near you with the same crop and roughly the same harvest week.
  2. Open it and say how much you can add, in your own unit.
  3. The owner sees your quantity and your district, and talks to the buyer for the whole lot.
  4. You are paid for your own quantity. AgriFolk never holds the money.

A pool is an agreement between farmers, not a contract with AgriFolk. Agree the price and the payment before your crop leaves your yard.
