Tamil Nadu agriculture department officer post, filled through the Combined Technical Services exam (no interview).
Who can apply: accepted degrees
Only one qualification is listed.
Colour blindness disqualifies. You need an eye certificate of Standard III or better.
Age limit by category
Reserved categories (SC, SC-A, ST, MBC/DC, BC, BCM) have no upper age limit.
Upper limits apply to the “Others” category. Figures from the notice; exam-day table to be re-checked.
Exam pattern
Paper I Part A (Tamil) is qualifying only — fail it and the rest is not marked.

- Tamil knowledge means SSLC/HSC/degree with Tamil as a language, Tamil-medium schooling, or TNPSC’s Second Class Language Test.
- A PG or PhD in Agriculture adds 2 years to the upper age limit.
- Apply only through the TNPSC one-time registration.
